Konstantin Markelov: “It Is Necessary to Pay Attention to the Strengthening of Scientific, Technological and Educational Processes in the Caspian Region”

In his speeches, the rector of Astrakhan State University has touched upon the development of the Caspian region, as well as the special status of Astrakhan Region as a geostrategic territory, many times. These are the issues that will be discussed by leading speakers at international forum “Caspian Region 2021: Sustainable Development Trajectories”.

The scientific event will bring together the top officials of science, higher education and youth policy, representatives of business structures, leading scientists and experts of higher education; it will become one of the drivers of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia.

The rector of ASU noted that the forum is being prepared jointly with the team of the Telegram channel “Scientific and educational policy” under support of colleagues from the autonomic non-profit organization “Russia — Country of Opportunities”.

President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksandr Sergeev will participate personally in the activities of the forum which will be opened by Governor of Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin.
