ASU Levels Up by 71 Positions in Annual National Aggregate Ranking of Universities
The 2020 results of examination of the position of higher educational institutions in the educational space of the country have been published on the best-edu.ru.
687 Russian universities took part in the ranking. Astrakhan State University moved to the second league (top 200), ranking up by 71 positions — to the 126th. The improvement in the performance of the university was due to the increase in its positions in the rankings “First Mission” and “Assessment of Quality of Education”.
“The significant growth in the indicators of Astrakhan State University in the National Aggregate Ranking is due to both the achievements of talented university students and a significant increase in the quality of education and the level of educational programmes that are being implemented at ASU. We plan to continue progressive development in all areas, which will allow us to claim higher places in the next ranking,” comments ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov.
