Journalism Prospective Students Can Prepare for Entrance Exams at ASU

An educational crash programme, which will help students to successfully pass an intra-university entrance examination, consisting of creative tasks, was developed by the Department of Theory & History of Journalism of Astrakhan State University.

Course “Journalism Prospective Student” will allow everyone interested to learn about the key areas of activity of modern media and the specificity of the journalist work. The professors will help applicants to master such modules as “System and typology of mass media”, “Literature, journalism, political journalism: continuity of times and topics”, “Profile of a modern journalist” and “Preparing and presenting a creative portfolio”.

All the modules are compiled in accordance with the programme of entrance examinations for the Bachelor’s degree programme in journalism in 2021.

Classes will take place on July 22-23. Each participant will receive an educational cycle certificate which can be presented instead of the portfolio for those who apple for the Journalism programme.
