ASU Students Are Qualified for the Final of Competition “My Country — My Russia!”

Journalism students of Astrakhan State University showed their creativity and active public position, having shown themselves in the all-Russia educational project.

90,000 young people from all over the country took part in the event. The aim of the competition was to support projects and initiatives that create an opportunity for personal and professional self-fulfillment of young professionals in various fields of activity. The competition is implemented within the framework of federal project “Social Mobility for Everyone” under support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. The main topic areas were science, technologies, space, ecology and family.

The journalism students of ASU presented their works to the jury in category “A Word about My Country”. Five representatives of Astrakhan State University were among the participants who received the highest number of points based on the in-absentia examination results.

The finalists of the first stage will have to defend their projects in-person or in-absentia. The winners will receive support from the grant competition for youth initiatives to implement their ideas.
