ASU Students Present Their Projects at SELIAS-2021 Exhibition

The exhibition of innovative industrial projects has been held within SELIAS-2021, a forum that brought together talented students from Russia’s regions and neighboring countries, as well as experts of various levels. Representatives of Astrakhan State University presented their developments.

This year, more than 400 young people aged 18-35 from all over Russia who have their own projects and had passed a competitive selection became participants of the forum. Students of Astrakhan State University have always taken part in the youth forum, and 2021 was no exception. Four ideas of young scientists were presented at the forum. These are the SMELCOM Robotics — AGRODAY aircraft, which pollinates at different points along a given route with preliminary processing of data obtained from another drone, and a mobile milling platform for processing (cutting) large sheet materials. Other two items exhibited by ASU are based on the use of computer vision technologies.

The exhibition was visited by a delegation that assessed the developed devices and gave the inventors some advice on further implementation of the projects. In addition, the experts said about organization of a platform for cooperation between innovators and potential customers in the near future.
