Konstantin Markelov Sends His Greetings on Unity Day

Having age-old traditions, this holiday unites Russians, inspires pride and love for our great country. The events of the past centuries remind of the enormous strength of human community, the importance of patriotism and citizenship in building a bright future.

For Astrakhan citizens, Unity Day is an especially important occasion because representatives of various nationalities have lived in the region for centuries in peace and harmony.

Every year, ASU hosts concerts, exhibitions, master classes, creative meetings and scientific conferences dedicated to the culture of different peoples of the world, and the friendly contacts that arise between students during their studies remain strong after years and give a start for new achievements.

I am sure that by combining the knowledge, skills, competence and diligence instilled in the younger generation at Astrakhan State University, we will be able to ensure further development of Russia.
