Konstantin Markelov: “Universities of Astrakhan Region Are Aimed at Joint Development of Caspian Potential”

The Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering has hosted a plenary session of the 11th international scientific forum of young scientists, innovators, students and schoolchildren “The Potential of Intellectually Gifted Youth for Development of Science and Education”. The rector of ASU was also among the event speakers.

The main goal of the event was the integration of research and innovation activities of young professionals to address socially significant and practical issues of science, education and production. The international audience of the forum included representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, the Donetsk People’s Republic, Australia, Vietnam, China and Myanmar. Rector of ASUACE Tatyana Zolina noted that the scientific event had been an integral part of the educational process at her university.

Being the president of the Consortium of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Organizations of Astrakhan Region, the ASU rector also spoke at the event. He drew the attention of the audience to the forum agenda, focusing on the cooperation between ASU and ASUACE.

According to the rector of Astrakhan State University, one of the most important areas today is the development of a creative urban environment. Professors of the Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, as well as young scientists, students and schoolchildren, are actively involved in this work.
