ASU Keeps Up with Business Time

The Center of Youth Entrepreneurship Support “You Are an Entrepreneur” has been opened at ASU on May 28 during the Week of World Entrepreneurship.

High quality of education delivered at Astrakhan State University is combined with formation of entrepreneurial thinking of students of all the specializations. To promote business ideas efficiently at our University, the Center of Youth Entrepreneurship Support “You Are an Entrepreneur” (the only one in Astrakhan Region) has been opened; its launch has been initiated by the Agency for Youth Affairs of Astrakhan Region. During the ceremony of signing the Center opening documents, Dr. Tatyana Khramova, First Vice Rector of ASU, has pointed out that the Center is to enhance the practice of forming entrepreneurial skills and to improve our students’ opportunities to launch and promote their own businesses; that will make it possible to increase the share of small and middle-size business in the gross regional product of Astrakhan Region.

The most ambitious business ideas can be tried at the Center of Youth Entrepreneurship Support, which is headed by Dr. Svetlana Arutyunyan from the Chair of Management). The students’ community of Astrakhan State University, which has its own entrepreneurial competencies, will now keep up with business time.
