Triumph of ASU at Festival "Yug Art-2014"
An official ceremony of awarding the winners of the Festival of Youth Creativity “Yug Art-2014” has been held.
The Festival of Youth Creativity “Yug Art-2014” has gathered a whole load of students who have a gift in creative work. Over 1, 000 students claimed to be the most creative young people. They were conventionally divided into “professionals” (i.e. those who study at specialized artistic educational institutions) and “amateurs” (i.e. amateur teams and performers). The participants could demonstrate their art in five fields: music, dances, theater, the original genre, and journalism. It is a tradition that students of Astrakhan State University take part in this Festival and gain prizes.
The official awarding ceremony has been held at the open site of the Astrakhan State Theater of Opera & Ballet. It was ASU’s teams “Capella5” and “Limbo Dancing Studio” that have won the Festival in different nominations. A number of our students have taken a personal prize: Alfiya Sarsenova, Pavel Kirichenko, Anastasia Butyrkina, Alina Gafurova, Polina Lisovaya, Elena Rozhdestvenskaya, Valeriy Kaula, Nursultan Urazaliev, Maria Vasilyeva, Alexander Borodin, Svetlana Brykova, Rauf Zaripov, Ekaterina Maksimova, Vladislav Yakovlev, and Diana Musayeva.
A gala concert of the Festival took place on June 07 at the Astrakhan Theater of Young Spectator’s Theatre; the brightest numbers by the participants were demonstrated then. The closing ceremony of the Festival has become a triumph of Astrakhan State University’s student community. ASU has gained all the main prizes.
ASU’s team “New Horizons” has gained the Festival grand prix.
The deserved victory of our students at the Festival “Yug Art-2014” has been gained as a result of providing all the necessary conditions to develop young people’s creative and aesthetic potentials at Astrakhan State University. Let congratulate the winners!
