Trainees of Presidential Program Defended Their Papers

Trainees of the Presidential Program, which is delivered at Astrakhan State University for managers, have successfully defended their diploma projects.

23 trainees have presented their projects; the papers have mainly concerned two fields of management – “Regional Management: Corporate & Areal Development Management Technologies” and “Regional Management: Formation of Sustainable Comparative Advantages of Companies & Areas”.

The presented projects have considered either strategies to develop organizations and enterprises of the real sector of economy (which is essential for a sustainable development of an entire region), or projects aimed to tackle particular tasks. Presentation of those projects has also been of top quality. The examination commission has remarked that the trainees have given professional responses as if they were real project managers, which confirms their profound knowledge of this profession. The trainees have presented their good skills to identify work quality standards, to arrange teamwork, to set up a personnel motivation system, and to make their staff feel responsible for what they are doing. The commission has said the trainees are good at analyzing, interpreting, and assessing the results of corporate activities aimed to form a comparative advantage and to create values.

One should remark that the defended projects are not only of economic nature; they also provide a considerable social effect for the development of a particular organization and make it possible to use its comparative advantages efficiently. The 23 defended projects have confirmed the fact that the Presidential Program for Managers is delivered efficiently and successfully at Astrakhan State University.
