Training by Recognized Masters
Students of Astrakhan State University have become participants of a master class in handball delivered by players of the regional handball club.
The event arranged jointly by ASU and by the Zhezdny Sports Facility took place on September 09. Students of all our departments have taken part in it.
A large team of ASU’s people split into direct participants and the audience. Players of the female handball team “Astrakhanochka” – Kira Trusova, Karina Sisenova, Anastasia Ryabtseva, and Irina Snopova – have been their trainers; these four handball players are also students of ASU’s Department of Pedagogics, Social Work, & Physical Training.
The master class included three stages. The first stage was a long warm-up with both individual and group exercises. The second stage included a detailed explanation of the game rules and a contest. Mini matches between three formed teams of the Blues, the Whites, and the Reds have become a spectacular final of the master class. The participants have really been trying to win. The audience team showed a lot of enthusiasm, which encouraged the players to strive for a victory.
A tie between the Reds and the Blues, as well as an absolute victory of the Whites, has become a final of the entire event. Everyone says the main outcome is gaining a lot of energy and positive emotions. Many students thanked the organizers and the trainers for such a smart opportunity to relax during the difficult academic process.
