18.10.2014
Ekaterina Messel, an undergraduate of Astrakhan State University’s Department of Business & Economy, has become the only student among all the participants of a contest arranged as a part of the Fair of Innovative Ideas & Projects by Young Employees in Oil & Gas Industry. Her project suggests changing the corporate image of the Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC – the main gas-recovering enterprise that operates in Astrakhan Region.
In middle October 2014, the Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC held the 4th Contest of Innovative Ideas & Projects by Young Employees in Oil & Gas Industry. 49 projects have been presented; only 22 of them have passed the preliminary assessment to be presented to the jury. One of those 22 projects was the project by Ekaterina Messel “Enhancement of Corporate Image of the Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC as a Socially Responsible Company”. It was Prof. Oxana Mineva, Dean’s of ASU’s Department of Business & Economy, who was Ekaterina’s Research Supervisor. Ekaterina has become the only student whose work has been permitted to take part in this contest.
The jury has included 25 managers from various units of the Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC; the jurors have remarked that Ekaterina’s report is undoubtedly relevant, since its statistic data are based on surveys of public opinions and since its ideas are indeed innovative, which the Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC will certainly take into account in its long-term social policy. Besides, the company is planning to involve Ekaterina in further developments of her project. Let us wish her successful career!
