Relevant Issues of Education in Natural Sciences Discussed at ASU

The 5th Interregional Scientific Conference “Relevant Issues of Teacher’s Training in Natural Sciences” has been held at the Innovative Institute of Natural Science of Astrakhan State University. A number of foreign participants have been present.
Over 150 researchers have come to the Conference, including specialists from Australia, Finland, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, the United States, Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Elista, and other foreign countries and Russian cities.
The Conference aims to consider relevant issues of introduction of Federal Educational Standards in natural-science education, as well as to analyze experience of tackling such issues in various foreign countries and Russian regions.
The Conference agenda has included the following sections: Issues of Training & Retraining of Teachers in General & Professional Education; Current Issues of Chemistry & Production; the round-table talk “Innovative Processes of Educational Environment at High Schools & Universities”, and a webinar with Kalmyk State University.
