Festival of Students’ Socialization Projects Starts

The Festival of Socialization Projects has officially been opened at Astrakhan State University on Nov. 24, 2015.

Students of all our Departments are taking part in this event; their participation helps them apply their interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as their creativity, in practice.

The current Festival includes two sections – “Folklore Dances” and “Visual Etiquette”. The former project includes choreographic compositions of folklore character. The students are free to choose their dancing genre and style, but the historical retrospective requires special attention. As for the latter project, tossing is used to choose a picture reproduction that contains visual and meaningful elements of aesthetic behavior; then the students are to present their scene play related to that picture.

For five days, students of ASU are to present their scene numbers to the jurors and the audience. At the end of the Festival, laureates and nominees shall be determined in each of the two sections. The official closing ceremony will take place on Dec. 04.
