Programs by ASU in Professional Retraining of Engineers
In middle December 2015, the official ceremony of granting certificates of professional retraining to specialists who have successfully completed a retraining program or taken part in the Federal Target Program “Retraining of Engineers in 2015-2016” has taken place at Astrakhan State University.
The Federal Target Program was approved by the Ministry of Education & Science of the Russian Federation (Order #490 of May 12, 2015).
Five professional retraining programs for engineers have been delivered at Astrakhan State University in 2015:
1. Development of Manufacturing Processes Ecological Monitoring Systems at Machine-Building & Oil-and-Gas Enterprises (supervised by Prof. Anatoliy Likhter, Head of ASU’s Chair of General Physics);
2. Rational Application of Natural Resources in Engineering, Geodesic Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrometeorological Engineering, and Ecological Engineering Prospecting” (supervised by Prof. Marina Lozovskaya, Chief of ASU’s Directorate of Research & Innovative Activities);
3. End-to-End 3D Technologies to Project & Control Manufacturing at Machine-Building Enterprises (supervised by Prof. Vladimir Smirnov, Head of ASU’s Chair of Material Science & Welding Technology);
4. Organization of Events & Application of Modern Technologies in Energy Efficiency & Resource Saving at Enterprises (supervised by Dr. Nikolay Vybornov, Dean of ASU’s Department of Physics & Technology);
5. Quality Enhancement of Production & Energy Saving by Applying High Technologies in Electrical Engineering, Welding, and Material Science at Machine-Building Enterprises (supervised by Dr. Denis Merkulov, an Associate Professor of ASU’s Chair of Material Science & Welding Technology).
The certificates of professional retraining have been granted by Prof. Anna Fedotova, Vice Rector for Research Activities of ASU.
