Celebration of Upcoming Christmas & New Year

Celebrations of the two upcoming winter holidays are taking place at Astrakhan State University.

From Dec. 22 to Dec. 24, 2015, the Cultural Center of Astrakhan State University hosts celebrating events. Their goal is to contribute to the corporate culture and form the single university community.

ASU’s Business Institute of Pedagogics & Psychology has been the first to hold a celebration event on the scene. Professor Lyudmila Davydova, Director of the Institute, has wished the audience to make all their dreams come true in upcoming 2016 and always be in a sunny mood, whatever season or weather might be outdoors. As for Professor Galina Palatkina, Dean of our Department of Pedagogics, Social Work and Physical Training, she has thanked her colleagues for high-quality education of students and congratulated everyone on the upcoming holidays, too. Professor Boris Kaygorodov, Dean of the Department of Psychology, has remarked that the year 2015 was full of events for ASU; he wished our University to develop and prosper.

The official congratulating part of the celebration event was followed by splendid dancing and singing numbers. Ded Moroz (the Russian Santa Claus) has been welcomed with a storm of applause: the youth style of his clothes and his recitation in the rap manner have left no one indifferent.
