Student of ASU Wins Bronze at International Competition in Economics

Students of Astrakhan State University’s Department of World Economy & Management have taken part in the Open International Student Internet-Olympiad.

This competition has united students of over 100 universities worldwide; it has been held as a computer online test.

Students of ASU – Ratmir Bigeev, Ivan Nikolaev, Vladlena Beschastnova, Alina Usmanova, Rakhiya Utaralieva, Alina Koshmanova, Anastasia Orlenko, and Ayzhan Batralieva (supervised by Irina Krugova and Elena Fedorova) have taken part in the 2nd tour of the Internet-Olympiad in economics and in Statistics. Volgograd State University has hosted the event. Over 2, 300 students from 193 universities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenia, Uzbekistan, and Slovenia have taken part in it. The online tests lasted 120 to 180 minutes. As a result of the 2nd tour, our student Rakhiya Utaralieva has won a bronze medal in Statistics. Our students will take part in the 3rd tour as well.
