Projects in Psychology & Conflict Studies: from Concept to Realization
The Festival of Projects in Psychology & Conflict Studies has taken place at Astrakhan State University.
This event has been held for the second time. If compared with last year, the number of presented projects has increased significantly; the undertaken researches have spanned a much broader field. Over 70 researches have presented their projects and research findings – faculty and students of Astrakhan’s higher educational institutions, as well as staff of local social care centers.
The range of discussed issues was diverse: a teacher as perceived by their students, parenthood, life success, teenagers’ value orientations, social aspects of teenagers’ suicide, adolescents’ professional orientation, handling of intrapersonal conflicts, national and ethnic features of holding negotiations, university students’ Psychology-related practical activities, etc.
There has been a number of nominations: the Best University Student Project, the Best High School Student Project, the Best Interdisciplinary Project, the Best Research Project, the Best Team Project, and the Creative Initiative. The winners got diplomas and valuable prizes, whereas their research supervisors received letters of thanks.
Summing up the event, its participants have emphasized its importance, good organization, and friendly atmosphere; they wished there were a closer interaction between Astrakhan’s educational and social care institutions.
