Feel the World of Poetry!

The Festival of Student Socialization Projects “Stage Adaptation of World Poetry” will be opened at Astrakhan State University today.

Realization of this project will provide the right conditions to develop students’ personal, interpersonal, and communicative competencies in the field of theater art and world poetry.

18 scene plays based on various poems will be presented by 17 teams of our students and by 1 team of our faculty staff and students. The Chair of Asian Languages of ASU is also to take part by presenting its play in the Japanese style.

“The Festival of Socialization Projects will be unusual this year, as it will be held in the poetic form. About 1, 000 students are involved in it; they were preparing their plays for two months. The University Trade Union is also to present its scene number, which will be a pleasant surprise. All the participants will be given a valuable prize by our Center of Creative Industries”, Mr. Sanan Gamidov, Chief of ASU’s Unit of Strategic Planning & Student Projects Management, said.
