Obtainment of New Materials Discussed at Our Chemical Department

In late April 2016, the 10th International Scientific Applied Conference “Fundamental & Applied Issues of Obtainment of New Materials: Researches, Technologies, Innovations” was held at the Chemical Department of Astrakhan State University.

The event was arranged jointly by the N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia), by Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia), by Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University (Atyrau, Kazakhstan), by V.G. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University (Poltava, Ukraine), by Kalmyk State University (Elista, Russia), by Dagestan State University (Makhachkala, Russia), and by Astrakhan State University (Astrakhan, Russia) as its host.

The range of the Conference participants included young researchers from a number of Russian cities (Krasnoyarsk, Elista, Volgograd, Moscow, Astrakhan, etc.), as well as from Egypt.

The Plenary Session included reports by the following scholars:

• Prof. Alexey Tyrkov, Dean of Astrakhan State University’s Chemical Department (“Ingredients for Food, Perfume Cosmetic, and Pharmaceutical Industries Based on Southern Russia’s Vegetative Raw Materials”);
• Dr. Igor Kornilyev, Chief of the Center of Research & Innovative Activities of the Institute of Education Development (“Elementary Experience to Demonstrate Selective Conductivity of Semipermeable Membrane & Thermometer Contrariwise”);
• Dr. Tatyana Pochevalova, Senior Research Officer of the Laboratory of Biotechnologies of Astrakhan State University (“Prospects of Research Management Activities in the Sphere of Chemistry”);
• Prof. Yuri Ryabukhin, Head of the Chair “General, Inorganic, and Analytical Chemistry” of Astrakhan State Technical University (“Russian Scholars in Natural Sciences – Laureates of Nobel Prize”).

On April 27, the Green Chemistry Research & Educational Chemistry operating at Astrakhan State University hosted the School of Pedagogical Art “Applied Orientation of Teaching Natural Sciences at Institutions of General Education”) as a part of this Conference.
