People of ASU Deliver Master Classes at Science Festival in Rostov-on-Don

Astrakhan State University has taken part in the 7th Science Festival of Russian South that took place on September 24-25, 2016 in the city of Rostov-on-Don. The event was hosted by Southern Federal University and backed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The total exhibition area made up 3, 500 sq. m; over 60 master classes were delivered as a part of the Festival. Six master classes were delivered by professors and students of Astrakhan State University:

  • Hexapod (by T. Kuanshkaliev);
  • Spectacles for People with Special Needs (by A. Savkin);
  • 3D Printer (by N. Svischev);
  • Quadcopter (by D. Reztsov);
  • Grass-Haired Doll (by A. Abakumova);
  • Pharmaceutical Phytobar from Astrakhan Region’s Vegetative Raw Materials (by O. Udalova).

Approximately 40, 000 people have visited the Festival. Projects by people of ASU were of definitely profound interest for the public. Our University obtained a letter of thanks for its active participation in the Festival.
