Trainees of ASU Receive Professional Retraining Certificates at Regional Governor’s Administration

On July 12, 2017, trainees who just covered the program “Leadership & Administration in Changing Organizational Environment” (they make up the regional reserve of qualified public administrators) received their certificates of professional retraining.

Their training took place at the Institute of Strategy & Competitiveness of Astrakhan State University. The program included four modules: Organization in Changing Environment; Change Management & Corporate Culture; Overcoming Resistance to Changes; Leadership & Change Supervision. It also included training based on an open educational platform, as well as individual consultations in HRM techniques, teambuilding, the supervisor’s role, elements of project management, and principles of lean production.

Our trainees thanked Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, for providing the right conditions to train qualified public managers to meet Astrakhan Region’s needs; they also emphasized high quality and a real value of the knowledge and techniques they just learnt. They already started applying what they learnt in their everyday working practices.
