Newly Enrolled Young People Become Students of ASU

On September 01, 2017, the official ceremony of initiation of newly enrolled young people into students of Astrakhan State University took place in the Arcadia Palace of Culture.

The event started with a short video that provided a general review of our University; a laser show accompanied the video demonstration.

In his welcoming speech, Professor Alexander Lunev, Acting Rector of ASU, pointed out that our University admits the most talented and active students, who demonstrate their willingness to study before the academic year begins. He also remarked that our University provides all the conditions necessary for versatile development of a young person.

Artistic numbers performed by our students followed Prof. Lunev’s speech. Honoring the old tradition, our first-year-students received a symbolic key of knowledge and swore their student oath.
