ASU Becomes Partner of Caspian Week of Fashion

Dr. Elina Polyanskaya, First Vice Rector – Vice Rector for Strategic Development of Astrakhan State University, and Ms. Elena Rodnenko, a Cofounder of the Caspian Week of Fashion, have signed a cooperation agreement.

The ceremony of official signing took place at the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting & Translation. Professors, students, designers, and foreign guests were present. Dr. Polyanskaya pointed out that productive interaction is essential for both parties: “We’d like the Organizing Committee of the Caspian Week of Fashion and our University to cooperate successfully both at the national and international levels”.

In her turn, Ms. Rodnenko, a graduate of ASU, remarked that our University has always provided real opportunities for its students’ development and socialization; now that this agreement has been signed, there will be more fields of cooperation. It was our University that hosted the opening of the business part of the Caspian Week of Fashion.

Let us remark that the Caspian Week of Fashion unites specialists and businesspeople from all over the world. This year, it has involved designers from Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Monaco, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.
