Civil Servants Retrained at ASU
The full-time stage of the professional retraining program “Role of Local Authorities in Regulation of International, Interethnic, and Interreligious Relations in a Municipality” for the first group of trainees has been complete.
The course included four modules that concerned the following themes: strategy of Russia’s national policy; prevention of extremism and terrorism in Astrakhan Region; role of local authorities in regulation of international, interethnic, and interreligious relations; cross-cultural communications in the sphere of international relations; monitoring sociological survey of international and ethnic confessional processes in our Region; the multi-format approach to coverage of interethnic issues; the best practices of activities of local authorities in regulation of international, interethnic, and interreligious relations.
At the last meeting related to project management, our trainees – civil servants of Astrakhan Region’s municipalities – developed the main stages of their inter-municipal project “Area of Friendship – Happy Together” aimed at efficient application of young people’s potential in development of international relations.
Now our trainees are to learn video materials and tackle the set tasks distantly. At the end of their training, they are to present a final project considering with specifics of international, interethnic, and interreligious relations in their municipalities.
