Students of ASU to Take Part in Robotic Contest

The Russian stage of the international student robotic contest “Eurobot 2018” will be held on April 20-22 in Rostov-on-Don. A team of students of the Institute of Researches & Solutions to Technological Tasks of Astrakhan State University will take part in this large-scale event.

This event aims to promote technological creativity and make engineering a more prestigious profession for young people. Its organizers are certain that just as the previous years, the current event will pass in the atmosphere of friendship, fair play, and a good team spirit.

“Robot Cities: Build a Better World” – this is the theme of the 2018 contest. A robot manufactured by participants is to carry out a number of tasks on the playing area mat imitating a city. At that, one must follow particular principles that relate to ecology. A robot ought to protect the environment, apply natural resources, and build comfortable houses without harming nature.

Should a team of ASU take a prize, it shall be able to represent our country at the international level – at the final stage of Eurobot 2018.
