French Experts Go On Sharing Pedagogical Experience with Professors of ASU
The Department of Pedagogics & Social Work of Astrakhan State University is receiving its French guests from the INS HEA, the well-known institution in France dedicated to people with disabilities and special educational needs, – Ms. Zineb Rachedi-Nasri, Mr. Fr?d?ric Reichhart, and Mr. C?dric Moreau.
The French guests’ visit took place as part of the Erasmus+ program and the signed double-diploma agreement concerning the master program “Counselor for Accessibility & Support of People with Special Health Needs” that ASU delivers.
Our distinguished guests visited Astrakhan’s Boarding School #3 for kids with special needs; they met administration of ASU, delivered the first classes, and learnt about our research activities. They were shown the facilities of the recently erected building of ASU. Our people told them much about education of people with special needs at ASU and our researchers’ activities in the field of accessible environment design. The guests visited our restaurant, our swimming pool, our two-level library, our computer classes, and our Innovative Technological Center to Create Multimedia Content.
The distinguished guests specialize in education of young people with special health needs and in teaching them adapted classes. The experts gave our students lectures whose themes were “Children’s & Adolescents’ Inclusion in Education” and “Being Handicapped & Social Ideas”.
Over the next two weeks, the French researchers will be presenting their research findings to people of Astrakhan; their findings relate to issues of being handicapped, to social inclusion, etc. An interesting program awaits them; it includes lectures, roundtables, meetings, and visits to various social institutions.
