Students of ASU Win Prizes at a National Competition of Research Papers
The competition took place in Irkutsk, at Baikal State University. Two students of Astrakhan State University took part in the event and won prizes.
The two students of our Department of World Economy & Management presented their research findings in the competition section “Management of Resources & Potentials of Social Economic Systems”. Dr. Elena Fedorova from our Chair of Economic Theory supervised their research activities.
Liudmila Schekotova, one of our two prizewinners, found out how much the staff of Russian companies is pleased with its work. She won the 2nd place for her research findings.
The other prizewinner of ASU comes from Vietnam. Nguyen Thi Huong is currently covering a master program in Economics at our University. She presented her paper related to cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in the field of transport logistics and won the bronze.
The two girls al won grants that opened new opportunities for them. Luidmila Schekotova won a grant by the Global education program to study at a prestigious university outside Russia. As for Nguyen Thi Huong, she won a grant to continue her studies at PhD courses at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
