Professor of ASU Joins Council Responsible for PhD Programs of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice

Since Sept. 01. 2018, Professor Rafik Usmanov, Head of the Chair of Political Science & International Relations of Astrakhan State University, has been a member of the council that supervises PhD programs at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Prof. Usmanov supervises one of the three directions of joint PhD programs that are being delivered after signing a double-diploma agreement between our universities.

According to Prof. Olga Egorova, Director of the Project Office of International Cooperation & Development, inclusion of our representative into the academic and research council of a foreign university is a good indicator of high quality of joint activities and Prof. Usmanov’s outstanding achievements.
