Academic Cooperation between ASU and French Researchers: Graduation of Unique Specialists

A project of double-degree Russian-French diploma, that is unique for the Astrakhan region, has been implemented within a new specialization «Inclusion Adviser» for 2 years.

Two MA students of the ASU Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Work studied at the National Institute of Advanced Training and Research for the Education of Young People with Disabilities and Adapted Teaching (INSHEA) and Astrakhan State University.

The students prepared their theses under double scientific supervision; they studied peculiarities of inclusive sociocultural environment for individuals with disabilities in the Astrakhan region.

The French colleagues noted a high level of the ASU students’ training, their remarkable commitment, interest in high-quality and deep study of the issue of inclusion. The first successful experience inspired them to further cooperation with the Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Work.
