ASU athletes win medals at international competitions

Athletes of Astrakhan State University competed with representatives of other universities in swimming, basketball, box, athletics and karate at the competitions in Kazakhstan.

BA and MA students of ASU won medals in all the mentioned sports. The athletes already have plans for the following Universiade. They also watched the performance of their rivals, assessed achievements of different teams and thought over their own ideas on sports development in the Astrakhan region.

Konstantin Markelov supported the students in their endeavors, and the sports games organizers officially expressed their gratitude to the ASU Rector for his support of our young athletes.
