ASU Search Squad Participates in a Patriotic Exhibition

On December 1, 2018, the Officers’ Club of the Caspian Flotilla welcomed participants of the 2nd regional meeting of the Astrakhan branch of the All-Russia Movement of Pupils and the Young Army Cadets National Movement "YouthArmy» at the exhibition «Faithful to the Memory".

The exhibition presented photos of longstanding activities of Astrakhan citizens in patriotic education and remembrance of the deceased defenders of the Fatherland. There were also weapon mock-ups, military artefacts and state decorations of the Great Patriotic War.

About 600 people attended the exhibition over two days, including Sergey Morozov, the Governor of the Astrakhan region ad interim, Kanat Shantimirov, the Acting Head of the Astrakhan Governor Administration, Vitaly Gutman, the Acting Regional Minister of Education and Science, Colonel Vadim Petukhov, the Hero of Russia and the Head of the team of Special Operations Forces "Scorpion" of the State Department of Corrections of the RF Ministry of Justice in Astrakhan Oblast, Valentin Vystropov, a deputy of the Astrakhan Regional Duma, Sergey Kodyushev, the Deputy President of the Duma of the Municipal Entity "Astrakhan City", Rustam Gaynullin, the Acting Head of the Regional Youth Agency, and other distinguished guests.
