ASU Welcomes Representatives of Antimonopoly Service
Astrakhan State University held a public discussion of the results of law enforcement practice of the Astrakhan Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia in the sphere of control over the antimonopoly legislation and public procurement law in our region for the 4th quarter and 12 months of 2018.
The discussion involved representatives of regional authorities and social agencies: the Business Rights Commissioner, the Public Procurement Office, the public prosecution service, the Public Chamber, the Contract System Control and Regulation Office, the Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Public Council under the Astrakhan Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, as well as federal customers, students and teachers of Astrakhan State University and regional mass media.
While opening the public discussions, Nikolay Merkulov, the Office Head, noted that these very joint events offer the opportunity to consider competition and procurement issues, as well as the ways of solving them, from different points of view, which makes further activities more sustainable. The presidium members also stressed the necessity of joint work.
At the end of the discussion, the participants filled in questionnaires, which are being analyzed by the Office experts at the moment. The answers will be posted on the website of the Astrakhan Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
