ASU Student Spent a Day in the Civil Status Registry Office as an Award for Her Victory in a Regional Competition
Dilyara Dzhankulova, a 4-year student of the Law Faculty of Astrakhan State University, received a diploma of the competition of assays “If I were the Head of a civil status registry office”.
The creative competition brought together students of Astrakhan HEIs. According to the organizers, students of ASU and Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering were the most active participants. The submitted assays were reviewed and discussed by the competition committee, consisted of employees of the Regional Civil Status Registry Office, members of the Community Council of the department and a representative of the Office of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Astrakhan Oblast.
On the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Civil Registry Register Service in Russia, the awardees were invited to have a look at the Service activities. They were shown the Civil Status Registry Office of Astrakhan, its departments and archive and even documents of their own birth registration.
Another important thing that day was a meeting with Galina Zoteeva, the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Astrakhan Oblast and the Regional Minister of Culture. The public official thanked the students for their interesting ideas and innovative proposals and gave instructions on their implementation.
The culmination of that day was an excursion around the Wedding Palace of Astrakhan. The students were shown the archive and museum of the Civil Status Registry Office, had a look at wedding attributes and learnt about the Office services. Besides, the students got a unique opportunity to attend a wedding ceremony and even try their hand at being its hosts.
