ASU Representatives Participate in a Seminar for French Teachers
From January, 27 till February, 02, 2019 Moscow hosted the 28th all-Russian academic seminar "French Language Today: Updating Linguistic and Methodological Knowledge on French / Francophone Culture and Communities".
The event was organized by the Association of French Teachers of Russia in partnership with the Agency for International Cooperation in Education and under the auspices of embassies of France and other French-speaking countries in Russia, as well as of the French Institute in Russia.
The seminar brought together 170 teachers, and its programme covered a lot of urgent issues. The seminar attendees had a chance to update their theoretical knowledge in linguistics, didactics and methodology of teaching French.
Astrakhan State University was represented by Elena Kuznetsova, the Head of the Department of Romanic Philology, and Yulia Chudinova, an associate professor of the above Department, who took an active part in the seminar and discussions. At their meetings with Claudine Mocnik, the Attaché on Francophone Cooperation of the Department of Cooperation and Culture of the Embassy of France in the Russian Federation, the ASU representatives discussed possibilities of developing international cooperation with Astrakhan State University.
