Astrakhan State University Welcomes Young Intellectuals Again

On March 16, ASU hosted a tournament with the status of the Astrakhan region championship in "What? Where? When?" intellectual game among school students.
The competition brought together 33 teams — the best of the best, hardened in intellectual battles and already experienced, despite their young age; the participants represented Astrakhan, as well as Kamyzyaksky, Krasnoyarsky, Narimanovsky and Khrabalinsky districts.
20 teams were of the senior group, and 13 were of the juniors. Each district, participating in the organization of the School League of the Astrakhan Intellectual Club, put 3 teams for participation.
The tournament distance was unusually long for school students — they had 48 questions to answer, thus proving their claims to the title of the champion.
All the schools, participating in the Astrakhan region championship, received ASU promotion materials. While addressing the young intellectuals before the competition start, Sergey Buzychkin, the Head of the ASU Project Office, recommended to choose our university after they pass the unified state exams and to participate in intellectual games as students.
