ASU Participates in an Educational Meeting
Yesterday, on March 19, Astrakhan hosted a meeting with representatives of Southern Federal District entities. The event, dedicated to the issues of implementing the national project “Education” was held by Marina Rakova, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation.
The event gathered 500 participants. Astrakhan State University was represented by ASU Acting Rector Konstantin Markelov, Vice-Rector for Academic Activities Aleksandr Treshchev, ASU College Director Svetlana Kunyashova, heads of ASU Project Offices and other representatives of our university.
The plenary and topic-specific sessions were mainly focused on practical issues of implementing the national project events: digital educational environment, establishment of centres for continuous professional advancement, centres for supporting talented children, additional education projects, the project “Teacher of the Future” and the federal project “Every Child’s Success”.
According to the Deputy Minister, now such strategic sessions are being held in all federal districts. Astrakhan has been chosen as a venue for the Federal Southern District because of its rich experience in each of the national project activities. The information on Astrakhan best practices will be included in materials that are being prepared by the Ministry for the State Council on Social Policy. The meeting will be held this spring in Novgorod region.
