ASU Projects Are Implemented with Social Partnership with a Large State Corporation
Teachers of the Faculty of Geology & Geography of Astrakhan State University took part in the round table discussion “LUKOIL Activities in the Sphere of Sustainable Development”, held in the Astrakhan Regional Duma.
The meeting participants summed up social partnership of PJSC Lukoil Oil Company in Astrakhan region over a decade of their activities.
In his report, Aleksandr Khodaev, Deputy Director-General for Public Relations, stressed that more than 1 billion rubles have been spent on social and cultural projects in compliance with an annual competition, announced by the company.
In particular, Marina Bezuglova, an associate professor of the ASU Faculty of Geology & Geography, successfully completed the project “We Are Young Tourists” funded by charitable donations from LUKOIL and its team of associates in 2017-2018.
Another project “Field Ecologist School” was supported in 2018 and is being implemented under the supervision of Elena Rusakova and Tatiana Dymova, associate professors of the Faculty of Geology & Geography.
