ASU Students Take Study Courses in Italy

Representatives of the Faculty of Physics & Technology and the Faculty of Architecture & Design took a 6-month international study course at the Polytechnic University of Bari, which has been a partner of Astrakhan State University since 2016 within the framework of the Erasmus+ international programme. The course was provided in English.

Nikolay Svishchev, a 1-year MA student of the Faculty of Physics & Technology, shared his experience with those who will go to study at the Polytechnic University of Bari: despite the fact that Erasmus+ courses are provided in English, learning Italian is essential for daily communication. For this purpose, the university provides foreign students with free language courses. The ASU student recommends that other participants of the programme do not limit themselves with communication only with their compatriots but relish the opportunity to learn more about the country.

Iskui Magakyan, another student of ASU from the Faculty of Architecture & Design, also took a study course at the Department of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Bari.

The cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Bari provides ASU students, taking engineering and IT majors, with an opportunity to gain new experience in such fields as electrical engineering, computer science, mechanics, management, civil engineering and architecture.
