ASU Agrarians Participate in a Specialized Youth Conference

The 8th International Scientific Conference “Achievements of Young Scientists in Development of Agricultural Science and Agro-Industrial Complex” took place on May 23-25 in the Caspian Agrarian Federal Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located in the Solenoe Zaymishche village.

The programme included reports of young scientists from the Volgograd Branch of the A.N. Kostyakov All-Russian Scientific & Research Centre of Hydraulic Engineering & Land Development, Federal Scientific Centre of Agro-Ecology, Integrated Land Development & Protective Afforestation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kalmykiya Scientific & Research Institute of Agriculture named after M.B. Narmaev (Branch of the Caspian Agrarian Federal Scientific Centre), Armavir Experiment Station (Branch of the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops), Volgograd State Agrarian University, All-Russian Scientific & Research Institute of Irrigated Vegetable and Melon Farming (Branch of the Caspian Agrarian Federal Scientific Centre), North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agrarian Centre and other organizations.

Astrakhan State University was represented by staff members of the Department of Agricultural Technologies, Engineering & Agribusiness and the Educational Experimental Facility “Nachalo”.

After the conference, the participants were shown the experiment stations of the Caspian Agrarian Federal Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
