Italian Students Take an International Law Course at ASU

Two Master’s degree students of the University of Molise (Campobasso, Italy) have completed a study course at Astrakhan State University within the framework of the Erasmus+ short-term academic programme.

From March to May, the students studied different subjects on international law for three months. Martina Entilucci and Giuseppe Molino are MA students of the University of Molise who undertake the programmes "International Law" and "International Relations". They took a study course at the ASU Law Faculty (Department of International Law) within the framework of the Erasmus+ short-term academic programme and the agreement between the universities.

While staying in Russia, each of the international students studied two international law subjects and conducted research for their theses. By the way, the topics of their theses are quite relevant for the Caspian region as well: Giuseppe Molino is doing a research on Russia-EU relations, while Martina Entilucci is studying the relations of the EU with other regional integration unions with the membership of Russia (on the example of the EAEU).

Along with the theoretical courses, the students participated in a number of round table discussions and meetings, dedicated to the Eurasian integration and organized by the Centre of International & Public Political Research "Caspian Sea Region — Eurasia".
