ASU Associate Professor Participates in a Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia

On May 24, Moscow saw a meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with representatives of nonprofit organizations from different regions of Russia.

A major part of the event was a seminar on the issues of boosting international activities of nonprofit organizations.

Astrakhan State University was represented by Kseniya Tyurenkova, an associate professor of the ASU Department of International Law who heads the Centre of International & Public Political Research «Caspian Sea Region — Eurasia».

The programme included speeches by representatives of the Office of the RF President and MFA Russia, main Russian grantmaking organizations and authoritative social structures — Rossotrudnichestvo, The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, Presidential Grant Foundation and the RF Civic Chamber Commission on Development of Public Diplomacy, Humanitarian Cooperation & Preservation of Traditional Values.
