ASU on ISLAND 10-22: Astrakhan Delegation Shares Impressions about Workshop Educational Programmes
July 11 saw the first lectures in Skoltech laboratories within the second educational workshop “Island 10-22”. Each participant of the Astrakhan delegation attended lectures on chosen individual tracks.
The workshop participants attended lectures in different laboratories, where they are mastering new competencies. Each "islander" have chosen a laboratory according to his/her role in the university team.
For example, Sergey Buzychkin, the Head of the Project Office for Digitalization & Information Policy, opted for the laboratory of case studies on data-based management at university — the third subdivision of the faculty "Data-Based Management".
In his turn, Aleksey Titov, the Head of the Engineering Project Office of Astrakhan State University, attended the tracker "Technological Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer" with 25 laboratories in 4 areas — "Models for University Accelerators Development", "Business Education Development", "Technology Transfer" and "Business Ecosystem".
Aleksandr Koshkarov, another ASU representative who is an associate professor of the Department of Mathematics & Mathematics Teaching Technique, chose the lecture "Artificial Intelligence and Neural Network Cognitive Systems: Developing the Most Relevant Competency at University". The experts shared their opinion on the importance of training AI professionals for implementation of the President’s strategy and a qualitative leap forward.
