ASU on ISLAND 10-22: Third Day of the Workshop Is in Its Full Play
The second educational workshop “Island 10-22” is underway. The ASU team has already attended several lectures within their individual tracks. Today, each participant keeps undertaking their study courses at the “faculties”, while in the evening they’ll enjoy a theatre performance.
The islanders start every morning with some physical exercises, and today is no exception. Each participant can choose a sport activity they like, as the workshop offers a wide range of sports: Kyokushin, aria yoga, table tennis and a lot more. For example, ASU Acting Rector Konstantin Markelov and First-Vice Rector and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Elina Polyanskaya have opted for Nordic walking across the Troparevsky park, while Aleksey Rybakov, the Director of the ASU Institute of Physics & Mathematics, and Aleksandr Koshkarov, an associate professor of the Department of Information Technologies, have individual workouts. After their physical exercises, the participants go to classes within the eventual educational programme at their "faculties".
In order to keep up with all the most exciting and important events of the workshop, the team of the 20.35 Information Bureau compiles an illustrative daily infographic "Island Pulse", a single page which presents the most important and interesting events of the last 24 hours to everyone interested (both the participants and those who do not attend the workshop).
