Astrakhan State University Rector is Interviewed by an Italian Student

Jadi Marinai, a Master’s degree student of the Ca’Foscari University of Venice, asked Konstantin Markelov several questions on ASU graduates’ employment, his further plans in the position of Rector and the difference between the Soviet and modern students.

Jadi is undertaking the MA programme “Languages and Economy of Eastern Europe”. One of the elements of his study course is a traineeship in Astrakhan within the Erasmus+ short-term mobility programme for students, university teachers and administrative staff.

Now the student is preparing his master thesis on how Astrakhan and Venetian universities help their graduates get employed. In this regard, Jadi Marinai decided to get information firsthand and asked several questions to ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov.

“There are topics that are relevant both for Italy and for Russia. In particular, I’d like to compare the situation with young specialists’ employment in these countries. Meanwhile, the ASU Rector shared much more information with me,” said Jadi.
