Konstantin Markelov at EEF-2019: Main Outcomes of the Forum Second Day

The Rector of Astrakhan State University discussed some issues of cooperation with the Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board and the SCO Secretary General, attended several key sessions and signed a cooperation agreement with the Far Eastern Federal University.

Konstantin Markelov attended several sessions of the forum, as well as the plenary meeting with the addresses of such top-official guests of the forum as President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe.

Today, Astrakhan State University, represented by its Rector Konstantin Markelov, also signed a cooperation agreement with the Far Eastern Federal University, represented by its Vice President for Academic Affairs Andrey Shushin.

At the end of the day, Konstantin Markelov had a talk with Vladimir Potapenko, the Deputy Director General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Chief of the International Relations Department. The Director General proposed cooperation with Chinese universities in new academic projects to Astrakhan State University.
