ASU Student Trade Union Members Advance Their Professional Qualification

On September 14-22, activists of the Trade Union of Astrakhan State University took part in the all-Russian competition “Student Leader 2019” in the Divnomorskoe village, Krasnodar Krai.

ASU was represented by Dariyana Sinektutova, the Deputy Chair of the ASU Trade Union, and Roman Korolev, the Chairman of the Trade Union Bureau of the Faculty of Social Communications who had participated in the district stage of the competition “Student Leader 2019”.

16 entrants from eight federal districts of Russia competed for the title of student leader of the country. “Rainbow” Sports & Recreation Centre of the Don State Technical University, where the competition took place, brought together more than 500 representatives of trade unions of educational institutions — chairs of organizations and their deputies, active students, experts of the competition, as well as professional lectors who held an eventful and informative educational programme for the students. In their turn, Roman and Dariyana did a study course for chairpersons, consisted of a series of lectures on trade union reports and elections, corporate motivation and corporate accounting.
