Astrakhan State University Explains How to Make It into Skolkovo in 80 days

Participants of a master class, held on October 25 at the ASU Boiling Point, learnt how to fill correctly the application form for getting support from the foundation, how the organization can help with developing a startup and what projects are supported by Skolkovo.

The event was organized by FABRIKA Astrakhan Technopark, the first private technopark in Russia and a profile company of RVC InfraFund.

The master class was held by Kseniya Doroshenko, a project manager of FABRIKA Astrakhan Technopark. The introduction of the lecture covered the main areas of Skolkovo activities and project assessment criteria. The participants made a full analysis of the grant application and of the process of becoming a participant of the foundation community, starting from how to title your project properly to product competitive advantages. The speaker also mentioned the importance of describing the core technology, commercialization scheme, choice of the market for project implementation and presentation of startup team’s competencies.

At the end of the master class, Kseniya Doroshenko gave the participants several useful tips on how to react on the foundation experts’ comments and to visualize the project properly. The expert noted that FABRIKA Astrakhan Technopark is ready to help ASU scientists and students highlight key points of the application correctly and analyze expert review results.
