Heads of ASU Student Clubs Present Their Activities

Last week, Astrakhan State University Rector Konstantin Markelov met with student club activities who reported on the work done and shared their plans for the future. In the first article, we have already told you about activities of the ASU intellectual club and student club of the Russian Union of Youth, and today’s article will dwell on another three clubs.

It should be recalled that in the beginning of the new academic year, Astrakhan State University kicked start to a new project on uniting creative and initiative students by their interests for organization and implementation of extracurricular activities.

At the meeting, Ivan Svitanko, the Head of the ASU Youth Union of the All-Russia People's Front, told the participants about activities and achievements of his team.

Yaroslav Gubarev, the Head of the “Labyrinth” tabletop games, reported on the club activities to the Rector and participating activists. Konstantin Markelov suggested that the club enlarged the list of the games, saying it’s important to find out what games are popular among the youth, and if the number of games increases, the club will attract more students.

Margarita Likhter made a presentation of activities of the preventive care student club “Sozidanie” (eng. creation). The club cooperates closely with the Medical Prevention Centre of Astrakhan region, regional office of the social organization “Professional Nurses’ Organization” and Drug Control Service of the Astrakhan Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
