ASU Student Will Participate in Moscow Mass Media Forum

Anna Shestakova, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Philology & Journalism of Astrakhan State University, has been selected for the event “I Am Future of Journalism” which is now taking place in Moscow within the framework of the all-Russia competition of youth projects of the Federal Youth Agency.

For Anna Shestakova, who is going to be a mass media expert, the forum programme is of great interest. In particular, the student is attending such training courses and lectures as “Tendencies of Modern Youth Media”, “Work of Mass Media Services In Site Projects”, “Mass Media Work in Public Agencies”, “Organization of Press Service Work in Russian Union of Youth” and others. Along with the studies, the student is going to make a presentation about the mass media she cooperates with.

The mission of the mass media forum “I Am Future of Journalism» is to enhance qualification and professionalism of journalists-to-be. Participation is open to representatives of Russian regions aged 18-25, whose activities and studies are connected with information, journalism and mass media. These are heads of regional mass media, staff journalists, students of specialized faculties, SMM experts and bloggers.
